    Chair industry

Plastic injection mouldings are often used in chair manufacturing to produce various components, including seat shells, backrests, armrests and leg braces. Here we manufacture for Klöber, Interstuhl and Rovo Chair, among others.

One advantage of plastic parts is their versatility. Plastics can be made in different shapes and sizes, which allows manufacturers to produce chairs with different designs and functions. Plastics can also be dyed in different colours to offer a wide range of aesthetic options.

In addition, plastic parts also offer practical advantages. They are often lighter than other materials such as wood or metal, which makes them easier to transport and handle. Plastic parts are also usually durable, water-repellent and easy to clean, making them a practical choice for use in chairs.

Another advantage of plastic parts is their adaptability. Plastics can be easily moulded to create ergonomic seats and backs. This adds to comfort and support and allows manufacturers to offer chairs with a better ergonomic fit.

In itself, it is important to use the right material. We also produce foot crosses for office chairs, which are a load-bearing component and therefore have to be robust. Here we have a component weight of approx. 1,500 g and a glass-fibre reinforced material is used. The plastic parts must have low distortion and the surface appearance plays a major role. In addition to office chairs, we also manufacture seat shells and backrests for bar stools in a high-gloss finish and in various colours. The quality of these products is very high and is constantly checked by us.
