The most demanding plastic injection moulded parts are found in filter and water technology.

Complex filter parts with threads, pressure pipes with pressed-in brass bushings, transparent filter cups and complex components with tight tolerances as well as filter bells with a high-gloss surface and a high impact strength are produced in our injection moulding production. The quality of these parts is tested and ensured by our run control. Components in this industry have the highest technical requirements due to pressure load changes, among other things. Injection moulded parts for softening plants require resistance to the salt used. We are represented in this industry, for example, by Grünbeck, Judo, Sasserath and Clage.

Here are some of the plastics that are frequently used in filter and water technology:

  1. polypropylene (PP): PP is a very common plastic in filter technology. It is resistant to chemicals, has a high impact strength and can be used at high temperatures. PP filter housings and cartridges can be found in many applications.
  2. polyethylene (PE): PE is another frequently used plastic in water and filter technology. It is resistant to many chemicals and has good resistance to corrosion. PE pipes and tanks are often used for water supply and treatment.
  3. PVC (polyvinyl chloride): PVC is a versatile plastic that is widely used in water engineering. It is resistant to acids, alkalis and many chemical solutions. PVC pipes, fittings and valves are commonly used for water piping and distribution.

These plastics offer advantages such as corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, light weight, ease of processing and long-lasting performance in filtration and water technology. They are used in various components such as filter housings, filter media, membranes, pipes, valves and fittings to enable effective filtration, treatment and distribution of water.
